Now Hiring: Part-time Marketing Assistant
VanGo Auto, St. Paul’s go-to for German and foreign auto repair, is on a mission to change the way people experience car care. We’re not your typical shop, and this isn’t your typical marketing role. We’re looking for a creative, people-loving content maker who can help us share our story across social media, YouTube, and more.
Why VanGo Is a One-of-a-Kind Place to Work:
- At VanGo, there’s no shady repairs, no intense pressure to spend money, no elevated dealership pricing, and no confusion.
- Just real relationships, real evidence, and expert car doctors that customers can trust.
- We empower our customers with honest info and clear options, putting them in the driver’s seat when it comes to decisions about their car’s health.
- If that sounds like the kind of small business you’d be proud to represent, keep reading.
What You’ll Do:
- Capture and create content for Instagram and Facebook
- Use AI tools like ChatGPT and Canva to write, design, and schedule content
- Build and grow our YouTube channel (think short-form videos, under-the-hood education, and everyday shop stories)
- Help promote community events and customer engagement campaigns
- Support email marketing, online reviews, and digital storytelling
You’re a Great Fit if You:
- Have strong storytelling instincts and a good visual eye
- Enjoy using tech and AI to work smarter, not harder
- Are comfortable filming/editing (or want to learn!)
- Can stay organized, work independently, and bring ideas to life
- Believe in the power of small business and human connection
Perks of the Job:
- Flexible hours that fit your life
- A supportive, kind, and mission-driven team
- Creative freedom, we want your ideas
- The chance to make a real impact on a small business that genuinely cares about our community
To Apply:
- Send a short email to info@VanGoAutomotive.com with a few lines about why this role speaks to you.
- Include a resume, any examples of your work, and/or links to social media or videos.
- Our environment is positive and the staff/owners live this vibe out – we need new staff to have a similar vibe.
