Inspections are the wisest dollars you will spend before or after a vehicle purchase (ideally, before). Most dealers or individuals who are confident about a car they are presenting to you and are transparent in their disclosure about the car’s flaws, will let you bring the car in for a pre-purchase inspection. An inspection will give you confidence in your purchase or help you dodge purchasing a car that has more problems than you want to sign up for. Inspections also give you leverage to have the seller fix something before selling it to you or reduce the price. Seriously – take time for inspections.
